Carricante — Sicily's white grape secret
Carricante is an indigenous Sicilian grape traditionally grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna. It thrives in limestone and gypsum-rich soils, producing white wines with good acidity, mineral backbone, and a freshness that defies Sicily's warm reputation. This isn't heavy, sun-baked Mediterranean white — it's bright, lifted, and genuinely food-friendly. At 12.5% ABV, it sits in the sweet spot between refreshing and substantial.
Honey, wildflowers, and mineral freshness
On the nose, delicate honey and intense fresh fruit aromatics with wildflowers. The palate is fresh and harmonious with good acidity that keeps everything alive.
