JD's Hot Honey Original — Jalapeño Infused Honey
JD's Hot Honey Original is a jalapeño-infused honey made in the UK — sweet first, then a warm chilli kick that builds without blowing your head off. It's the sauce that turned pizza night into an obsession for about half the country. Drizzle it on pizza, fried chicken, roasted veg, waffles, or — trust us on this — vanilla ice cream. Once you start, you'll put it on everything.
Sweet heat that goes on literally everything
The reason JD's works so well is the balance. Honey up front — floral, sweet, proper — then a medium jalapeño heat that rises without taking over. It's not a hot sauce pretending to be honey, and it's not honey with a faint suggestion of chilli. It's both things at full volume, working together. The squeeze bottle means precise drizzling, and the visible chilli flakes let you see exactly what you're getting into.
No artificial anything
Honey, red jalapeño peppers, spirit vinegar, natural flavouring. That's the full ingredient list. No preservatives, no artificial colours, no artificial flavours. Made in the UK in small batches. Store at room temperature and use within 12 weeks once opened — though it almost certainly won't last that long.
The pizza topping you didn't know you needed
JD's was literally born from pizza night — the founders started making it at home during lockdown because nothing else gave them the sweet-heat finish they wanted on their homemade Neapolitan pizzas. It's since become the go-to hot honey for pizza lovers, BBQ fans and anyone who likes their food with a bit of personality. Drizzle it on pepperoni pizza, use it as a glaze for chicken wings, stir it into a marinade, or put it on a cheese board with some strong cheddar and let the sweet-salty-spicy thing happen.
About JD's Hot Honey
JD's started in 2021 when Jade and her husband got obsessed with homemade pizza during lockdown. Standard hot sauces and sweet chilli just didn't cut it as a pizza topping — too vinegary, too sweet, wrong texture. So Jade started infusing honey with red jalapeños in the kitchen, and the result was so good they had to bottle it. JD's has since gone from kitchen experiment to one of the UK's most popular hot honeys, stocked everywhere from Ooni to Ocado.
We stock JD's because it's a brilliant product from an independent maker with a proper story — and it pairs stupidly well with a Friday night pizza and a bottle from our wine range. See all JD's Hot Honey products at Natty.

Who's JD's Original for?
Anyone who eats food, basically. But especially: pizza lovers who want to upgrade their Friday night. BBQ fans who need a new glaze. Cheese board builders who want something sweet and spicy to cut through the richness. People who drizzle honey on their breakfast and want a version with attitude. It's a medium heat, so it won't scare off anyone who isn't a full chilli-head — if you want more fire, JD's make a habanero version for that.
Pair your pizza night with a bottle of Doom Juice Rouge or grab something from our red wine range — hot honey and red wine is a combination that'll change your weeknight dinners.

Frequently asked questions
What does JD's Hot Honey Original taste like?
Sweet, floral honey first, then a warm jalapeño chilli kick that builds to a medium heat. It's more sweet than hot — the honey is the star, and the jalapeño adds a slow-building warmth rather than an immediate burn. You'll see visible chilli flakes in the bottle, which add texture and a bit of extra heat in each drizzle.
What should you put JD's Hot Honey on?
Pizza is the classic — it was literally invented for pizza night. But it's brilliant on fried chicken, chicken wings, roasted veg, waffles, cheese boards, salmon, burgers, tacos, and even vanilla ice cream. Use it as a drizzle, a glaze, or stir it into a marinade. If it's savoury (or even sweet), there's a good chance hot honey will make it better.
Can I get JD's Hot Honey delivered in Bristol?
Yes. We deliver next-day across Bristol (BS1–BS16) for £3.50, or free over £40. UK-wide delivery is £9, free on orders over £80. Full delivery info here.
How hot is JD's Hot Honey Original?
Medium heat. It's a jalapeño infusion, so the heat builds gently rather than hitting you all at once. Most people find it comfortably spicy — enough to notice, not enough to overwhelm. If you want serious heat, JD's make an XXTRA Hot version with habanero peppers.
