Aperitivo Spritz, Black Lines, United Kingdom

Cocktail Ingredients
The Black Lines Aperitivo Spritz is a bottled take on the classic Italian sundowner — bittersweet Gamondi Aperitivo blended with crisp sparkling wine and a lift of bubbles. It's everything you want from a spritz: bright, orange-forward, gently bitter, and dangerously easy to drink. Five serves per bottle, no prosecco-measuring required. Just pour over ice and pretend you're on a terrace in Milan.
Black Lines don't use Aperol. Instead, they've partnered with Toso, a 120-year-old family distillery in Piemonte, to use Gamondi Aperitivo — which is more orange-forward, rounder, and a bit more complex than the mass-market stuff. Mixed with sparkling wine and a touch of soda, the result is a spritz that tastes properly crafted rather than poured from a tap at a chain bar. At 8% ABV, it's light enough for a sunny afternoon but interesting enough for a pre-dinner drink.
The Aperitivo Spritz is Black Lines' biggest seller alongside their Negroni, and it's easy to see why. It's the kind of drink that makes an ordinary evening feel like an occasion. Serve it in a wine glass over ice with a slice of orange — it takes about 10 seconds to prepare and looks like you've put in actual effort. The 750ml bottle gives you five 150ml serves.
Black Lines is a London-based bottled cocktail company that's been making pre-mixed drinks since 2017. Founded by Casey Sorenson and Kuleen Khimasia, they've built a reputation for using quality independent spirits and refusing to cut corners. The Aperitivo Spritz has been one of their core serves on tap in bars for eight years — the bottled version brings the same drink to your fridge. Gluten-free and dairy-free.
We stock Black Lines because they take cocktails as seriously as we take wine curation — except they make it look effortless. Browse all Black Lines cocktails at All Natty.
This is an aperitif, so it's built for before-dinner nibbling. Pair it with olives, crisps, or anything from our snacks selection — the Olives Et Al Chilli Puffs and a cold Aperitivo Spritz is a proper combination. It's also great on its own at the end of a long day when you want something light and refreshing that isn't wine or beer.

It's bright, bittersweet, and orange-forward with a gently fizzy finish. Think of a classic Italian spritz but a little more rounded and complex than one made with Aperol. It's refreshing without being sugary, and the bitterness gives it grown-up depth.
Keep it in the fridge. Pour 150ml over ice in a wine glass and garnish with a slice of orange. That's it. Five serves per bottle. Best enjoyed cold.

Similar idea, but Black Lines use Gamondi Aperitivo instead of Aperol. Gamondi is made by a 120-year-old family distillery in Piemonte and has a more orange-forward, rounded flavour compared to Aperol's sweeter profile. The result is a more complex, craft take on the classic spritz.
