New Theory Pot Luck — Pinotage pet nat from South Africa
New Theory Pot Luck is a naturally sparkling wine made from 100% Pinotage — South Africa's signature grape — grown in the red soils of the Swartland. It's fizzy, fruity and completely fun. If you think sparkling wine means champagne flutes and fancy occasions, this pet nat is here to change your mind.
Natural bubbles, zero fuss
Pet nat (short for pétillant naturel) is one of the oldest ways to make sparkling wine — the bubbles come from the wine finishing its fermentation in the bottle, not from added carbonation. That gives Pot Luck a soft, lively fizz with a slightly cloudy, unfiltered look. Expect ripe red fruits, a salty sherbet tingle and a creamy finish. It's Pinotage like you've never had it.
Swartland grapes, 500 feet up
The Pinotage vines sit 500 feet above sea level in the Swartland region, planted in distinctive red, coffee-stone soil. The elevation and soil give the grapes bright acidity and a saline edge that makes this pet nat incredibly refreshing. Hand-harvested, spontaneous fermentation, naturally carbonated in the bottle. 12.5% ABV, 100% vegan, and absolutely nothing added that doesn't need to be there.
The kind of bottle that starts conversations
Pot Luck's label — another original character by illustrator James Graham — is playful, distinctive and looks nothing like your nan's prosecco. It's a bottle that gets people asking questions, which is exactly the point. New Theory makes wine for people who'd rather discover something different than stick with what they know.
About New Theory
Brothers Charlie and Thom Bradley started New Theory to prove that wine doesn't need to be serious to be good. Previously known as Nouveau, the brand has built a cult following through sell-out wine raves, bold branding and genuinely brilliant juice from South African vineyards. Their wines are stocked in Selfridges, Whole Foods and independent bottle shops across the UK — and they're growing fast, with ambitions to hit 500,000 bottles by 2026.
New Theory fits perfectly into what we're about at All Natty: independent, fun, no nonsense and genuinely tasty. See the full New Theory collection at All Natty.

When to crack open Pot Luck
This is a pet nat for picnics, parties, pre-drinks and Sunday afternoons. It's brilliant on its own, straight from the fridge, or alongside snacky food — think olives, crisps, charcuterie or a decent cheese. If you're exploring natural sparkling wines, Pot Luck is one of the most fun places to start.
Want to build a proper spread? Grab a bag of Serious Pig Snacking Pickles or some Olives Et Al Chilli Puffs alongside it — pet nat and salty snacks is a combination that just works.

Frequently asked questions
What does New Theory Pot Luck taste like?
Pot Luck has a soft, lively fizz with flavours of ripe red berries, roasted peach and a salty sherbet finish. The Pinotage gives it more body than most sparkling wines, and the unfiltered style adds a creamy, textural richness. It's playful, refreshing and seriously moreish.
What is a pet nat?
Pet nat — short for pétillant naturel — is one of the oldest ways to make sparkling wine. The wine is bottled before fermentation finishes, so the bubbles form naturally inside the bottle. It's a simpler, more natural process than traditional champagne method, and the results tend to be softer, fruitier and slightly cloudy.
How should you serve Pot Luck?
Ice cold, straight from the fridge. Open carefully — pet nats can be lively. It's perfect as an aperitif, with snacks and nibbles, or paired with lighter dishes like salads, sushi or fish tacos. Basically anything you'd drink sparkling wine with, but more fun.
Can I get Pot Luck delivered in Bristol?
Yes. All Natty delivers same-day across Bristol BS1 to BS16 — order before 2pm and your bottle arrives by 8pm. Local delivery is £3.50, or free on orders over £40. We also ship across the UK with 2-day priority delivery.
Is Pot Luck suitable for vegans?
Yes. All New Theory wines are 100% vegan, made with no animal-derived fining agents. Pot Luck is also unfiltered, naturally carbonated and contains only minimal sulphites.
