Top Cuvee Mulled Cider — Spiced British Apple Cider

Top Cuvee Mulled Cider is a ready-to-drink spiced cider made with British Dabinett and Cox apples, a splash of skin-contact Grenache Gris from southern France, and traditional mulled spices including a hit of frankincense. At 8.8% ABV, it's lighter than their Mulled Wine but every bit as festive — fresh, fruity, spiced and dangerously easy to drink.

British apples meet French wine (and it works)

The base is proper British cider apples — Dabinett for depth and Cox for sweetness — sourced from British farmers. Then Top Cuvee do something clever: they add a touch of skin-contact Grenache Gris from the south of France, which gives the cider a subtle richness you won't find in any other mulled cider on the market. The traditional spice blend plus frankincense takes it firmly into festive territory without losing the crisp apple character. It's a craft mulled cider that actually tastes of the apples it's made from.

Lower ABV, same big flavour

At 8.8% ABV, this is lighter than most mulled wines — which means you can have a second mug without writing off the evening. It's refreshing and spiced rather than heavy and syrupy. If you find most mulled drinks a bit much, this is the one. Pair it with a bottle of Top Cuvee Mulled Wine and let people choose their fighter.

The mulled drink for people who don't do mulled wine

Not everyone's a wine person, and that's fine. This mulled cider gives you all the festive warmth without the wine. It's fruity, spiced and approachable — the kind of drink that converts people who normally stick to beer or spirits. Serve it warm alongside some snacks from our deli range and watch it disappear.

About Top Cuvee

Brodie Meah and Max Venning built Top Cuvee from a 45-seat Highbury restaurant into a natural wine empire. The brand now spans two London shops, a Bethnal Green wine bar, a nationwide delivery service and their own range of house wines, ciders and seasonal specials. Their Mulled Wine became a cult favourite, so a Mulled Cider was the obvious next move — same craft approach, same eye-catching design, different drink entirely. Everything they make reflects a simple idea: great drinks should be fun, not fussy.

We love stocking Top Cuvee because they get it — no jargon, no pretence, just properly good stuff with brilliant branding. See the full Top Cuvee selection at All Natty.

Who's the Top Cuvee Mulled Cider for?

If you're hosting a bonfire night, a Christmas gathering, or just a cold-weather evening and you want options beyond mulled wine, this is it. It's perfect for mixed groups — lighter drinkers, cider fans, and anyone who wants something warming without the higher ABV. It's also a cracking gift alongside the Mulled Wine for a festive drinks duo.

For the cider-curious: if you enjoy this, it's worth exploring the broader world of natural cider. And if you want to build a full spread, grab some Serious Pig snacks — their crisps and pickles are made for this kind of drinking.

The splash of French Grenache Gris adds a subtle richness that lifts it above standard mulled ciders. It's lighter and fruitier than mulled wine.

How do you serve Top Cuvee Mulled Cider?

Warm it gently in a saucepan — don't boil it. Pour into mugs or heatproof glasses. It's great on its own or alongside mince pies, cheese, or any autumnal or winter food. At 8.8% ABV it's sessionable enough for a long evening around a fire pit.
