Jean-Benoît and Bénédict Comor bought their 18-hectare parcel in the village of Lambesc in 2017. They're working in the far west of Provence's Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation, farming organically and making wine using the ancestral method — the original way of creating natural bubbles, long before Champagne industrialised it.
Rolle (Vermentino's Provençal name) is a Mediterranean grape that thrives in coastal climates. Et Alors? shows exactly why — there's a subtle salinity that speaks to the terroir, along with chamomile on the nose and the kind of bright acidity that makes this genuinely thirst-quenching. At 11.5% ABV, it's sessionable without being flimsy.
