The dark chocolate base is rich and bitter in the best way — 61% cocoa, pure cocoa butter, proper stuff. The Chocolate Society has been making small-batch chocolate in Somerset since the 1990s. They work with premium couverture chocolate from around the world and pair it with organic, locally sourced ingredients. Everything is handmade by their team of artisan chocolatiers, with a focus on flavour and freshness over mass production and shelf life. They also donate £0.20 per kilogram of chocolate sold to social causes in Colombian cocoa-growing communities — so the chocolate does some good beyond tasting brilliant.
