Black Lines Shirley Temple — Non-Alcoholic Bottled Cocktail

The Black Lines Shirley Temple is a 0% ABV bottled cocktail that actually tastes like something you'd order on purpose — not a sad afterthought for the designated driver. Grenadine, ginger ale, raspberry soda, fresh lemon, blood orange and a dash of bitters, all bottled by the same team that makes some of the best pre-mixed cocktails in the UK. Five generous serves per bottle. Nostalgia in a glass, minus the hangover.

A proper non-alcoholic cocktail, not a soft drink in disguise

This isn't lemonade with a fancy label. Black Lines have put the same care into this 0% serve as they do into their Negroni or Espresso Martini — real ingredients, proper balance, genuine complexity. It's effervescent and sweet with a tart edge from the blood orange and bitters, and it actually feels like a cocktail when you pour it over ice. If you've ever been disappointed by a mocktail that tasted like fruit squash, this is the antidote.

Perfect for everyone, not just the sober-curious

Whether you're doing Dry January, driving, pregnant, or just don't fancy booze tonight, the Shirley Temple means you don't have to sacrifice the ritual of a good drink. It's also brilliant at parties — pour it alongside the alcoholic Black Lines range and nobody feels left out. The 750ml bottle gives you five 150ml serves, which is proper generous.

About Black Lines

Black Lines is a London-based bottled cocktail company founded in 2017 by Casey Sorenson and Kuleen Khimasia, with a mission to make great cocktails more accessible. The Shirley Temple was their first non-alcoholic release, and it's become a permanent fixture in the range because it proved that taking the booze out doesn't mean taking the fun out. Every bottle features artwork from a different artist — the Shirley Temple's label was illustrated by Brighton-based Alex Khabbazi.

We love what Black Lines do — cocktails without the pretension, whether there's alcohol in them or not. See the full Black Lines range at All Natty.

When to drink it

Honestly, whenever you want. It's great as an aperitif before dinner, as a party drink, or just on a Tuesday evening when you want something more interesting than water. Serve it over ice in a tall glass — bonus points for a striped straw and a cherry. It also works as a mixer: add a shot of vodka and you've got yourself a Dirty Shirley (which Black Lines also make, if you want the easy route).

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Black Lines Shirley Temple taste like?

It's sweet, fizzy, and more complex than you'd expect. You get red berries and ginger upfront, with a tart citrus edge from the blood orange and lemon, finished with a subtle aromatic note from the bitters. It genuinely tastes like a cocktail, not a juice.

How do you serve the Black Lines Shirley Temple?

Pour 150ml over plenty of ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry if you have one, or a slice of orange. Keep the bottle in the fridge — it's best served cold. Five serves per bottle.

Can I get this delivered in Bristol?

Yes. All Natty delivers across Bristol BS1–BS16 the same day for orders placed before 2pm. Delivery is £3.50, or free on orders over £40. Free click and collect is also available from our Bedminster bottle shop.

Is the Black Lines Shirley Temple completely alcohol-free?

Yes — it's 0.0% ABV. It contains no alcohol at all and is also vegan-friendly, with no common allergens. The ingredients are water, sugar, lemon juice, concentrated fruit juices, natural flavourings, and bitters.
